Making the Evaluation

Me and George came in when we had some free time, Laurence couldn't as he had a lesson. We put our evaluation responses together, we each had different responses, this is because we each had a different question. 

When we made the evaluation we wanted to put as many images as possible, we have don't this along with a small description of what each image shows.

to finish the evaluation we added a track, this the the song that we chose for the music video.

6th March Editing & Filming

We edited our production, we used the feedback that we received, we were told that certain shots were too long, to fix this we shortened them. the shots were George leaving and shutting the case.

We filmed the shots that would indicate a flash-forward, we also filmed the money shot, this worked fairy well, however we did have some trouble when editing the flash-forwards, this is because we could find a great place to put them, we did eventually work this out.

Filming and Editing 17th

After the filming that we had done on the 16th, we had ageed to do some more filming and get the last of the editing done, however George couldn't do it in the afternoon so we did it in the morning, unfortunately we couldnt get hold of Laurence until we were almost finished editing.

The first thing that we did was upload the things we had filmed yesterday, this was the 360 degree shot, which we finally got to lot good, and the other thing was george walking up the stairs, we needed this to that we can cut to the point of view shot better that just starting with it.

We edited the 360 degree shot so that it slowed on each person face and also blinked and changed to black and white while goin slow. The other bit of editing was we added a match on action so that as soon as george gets to a cetain point on the stairs we cut to different shot.

While we were editing we looked through all of the shots that we had done and remembered that we got some negative feedback about one of our shots, so George and I went and filmed it at the school quickly. And the last thing that we filmed and added was George reading a final demand notice for a fairly high figure.

1st Draft Ancillary

Filming 16th

We got more or less the last of the filming, to do this this we needed to get to Whitehill Golf Club House, when we were there we set up the camera and filmed the 360 degree shot that we kept having problems with, to do this i sat on a chair that span all the way around and just filmed while i spun on the chair. the other part of filming was George walking up the stairs, this is so we have something that we can cut from to the point of view shot.

Half term plans

Over half term we plan on getting some filming and editing done.

The shots that we need to film are the 360 degree shot as we havent been able to make it work after many attempts, however we have a plan on how we are going to film it, which hopefully works.

We also need to film George walking up the stairs as Whitehill Club House as we need something we can cut from into the point of view shot.

Ancillary Task

Today i carried on with the ancillary task that ive been set, the website, i didnt get too much done today been in doing so i now understand what i need to do and how i can make it work.

I will try to finish the ancillary task at home as i have been facilities to do what i what for this project, these are things such as access to Youtube and i have both Photoshop and Fireworks.

Todays lesson

Today we looked at both adverts in magazines and band websites, this has given a understandin of what needs to go on each, the main things that we needed to agree on is the band name that we will use, the font and the colour scheme.

I will be doing the majority of the webpage as i am more skilled at this task than the magazine advert. George was in charge of magazine advert and lawrence was looking at fonts that we could use. We agreed that the main colours that we will use will be black, red, white and grey.

The use of grey and white will allow us to use either the black or the red to make things stand out and eye-catching. One part we had difficulty with was the band name, to do this we used a band name generator on the internet, eventually the name The Bambinos came up, we all agreed that this should be the band name as its taking a long time to get a good name.

Webpage Planning

As i will be the main person designing and creating the webpage i have decided to get some inspriration from other band websites, eventhough the websites that i looked at are very different in terms of style they are both very helpful in designing as they both shows the layout and links that a band website should have.
